North Carolina is the second most at-risk state regarding Hurricanes- and the season is right around the corner.                   June 1st.   Every homeowner should know what is covered in their policy before catastrophy hits.  


* Review your policy to know what exactly is covered, and what you need to do in case you need to file a claim




* Have your insurance agent’s number and policy readily available in case of an emergency or if you need to evacuate

When Looking for Your Boat Insurance….


* Understand Exactly what you are covered for and what is NOT covered.  Boat policies are not standardized so comparing a policy can be tricky. 


*  Watch for hidden exclusions, terriortorial limits and distance limits in the ocean.  


* Make sure the deductible is Reasonable.  Some companies use a % deductible, which could be doubled for certain types of losses.

What is Love is Bald? 


A group here in Wilmington, NC that is getting together to help raise funds for SAMfund in memory of their dear friend, Peyton Dergay. SAMfund provides grants and scholarships to young adult cancer survivors to help supplement money that was lost during treatment, such as education, job searches, lingering medical expenses, etc.
